How to install and update a skybow SharePoint Add-In

The skybow SharePoint Add-Ins ( skybow rich forms, skybow theme designer, skybow action links, skybow list view search & skybow tabbed pages) can be installed whether on SharePoint Online (Office365) or on your SharePoint Server 2013/2016 installation on premises.

 

You can download the latest version from here: Release Downloads SharePoint Add-Ins

 

In case of SharePoint Server you need to have the app infrastructure configured. You can find a step-by-step guide on how to achieve that on this Microsoft TechNet article.

 

Steps to install:

  1. Extract the .app package from the zip file
  2. Upload it to your app catalog on SharePoint
  3. Add the app to the site you want to use it
  4. After a successful installation fill out the license request form on the app homepage
  5. We will send you a 30 day trial file to upload on the same page

 

Steps to update:

  1. Extract the .app package from the zip file
  2. Upload it to your app catalog on SharePoint
  3. Update the app on the site you’ve installed it

Important: After update is completed open the app again (Navigate to app-homepage) to finalize the update
