Importing an Existing non-Skybow Production Site into Solution Studio (for minor modifications)
Greetings,
As I understand it, there are 2 main ways that Solution Studio can be used:
1. New Solutions from Scratch (Dev --> Test --> Prod)
2. Bring an existing Site into Solution Studio (Save directly to site, no Package/Publish to another environment)
--- --- ---
I state/ask the question, because I am considering option #2, and want to make sure I am making the right choice...
The scenario (& questions) I am looking at is this:
1. Bring an existing Site into SS, that has never been touched by anything Skybow.
2. Only 1 List will be modified.
3. The only modifications to this List will be to add Command Bar Action Buttons to the List View.
4. This List is configured to a Power App form, and this doesn't need to change.
Q1. What are the risks? Any specifics to pay attention to?
Q2. Is this even recommended?
Q3. When you add an existing List in Solution Studio, once you get past the import dialogs, it instantly opens that List's display form, and ask if you want to customize using Modern or Classic...
If I only want to modify the List View, & DO NOT want to remove the Power App from any of the 3 Forms...
How should I approach this? Anything to worry about?
Thanks for your time!

Dear Kilgore ServiceAccount,
you could do it exactly as you described, just don't press the "Customize by Modern Forms" button.
If you don't need to package and publish it to another site, there might be an easier solution, which has less impact -> You could install our separate List Actions Add-In and just deploy it on that site only. This will give you an additional command bar button to configure actions without Solution Studio.

I appreciate the guidance on how to accomplish this in Solution Studio!
As far as the suggestion goes...
This was actually my first thought, months ago, as far as my best bet for creating 'temporary connected tissues' between legacy Solution & future Skybow solutions...
I believe I had this discussion with Support via email, but to make sure...
'List Actions' does or does not require a separate license from Solution Studio?

Dear Kilgore ServiceAccount,
the List Actions Add-In has a separate license, which is included if you have a full Solution Studio license purchased. (not included in Solution Studio - One Solution and former Plattform Standard)
Just contact sales@skybow.com via email if you want to use it.
