    Hi Dale Zach,

This is not supported in solution studio to manage content types in lists, but you can do that in SharePoint directly. As you know content types are supported in our forms.

To add a column to a specific content type, just go to the list settings in SharePoint, click on the content type and click the link "Add from existing site or list columns" to add it to that content type.

If you add a column to a list or library you have the option to add it directly to all content types

If you add content types afterwards you have to add the column manually as described above.

    Kind regards
    Matthias

    Matthias,

I believe he is referring to a slightly different scenario... I ran into this issue before. I gave up on using Content Types in Skybow Solutions.

    Fundamentally:

How do you create a "Skybow Lookup" Column...as a SITE COLUMN?

The difference between: a Lookup Column configured via Site Columns -and- a Skybow Lookup created within Solution Studio...

    Totally different.

I believe at one point I tried:
-Create SB Lookup within Solution Studio
-Powershell to extract the SB Lookup column
-Various PS methods to try to force the SB Lookup into Site Columns...Content Types...etc

I gave up. Would love to hear that this is way more simple than I was thinking (back then)!

Yes Kilgore it's the lookup column that I can't get to work in a Dossier for a custom content type. Here I'd added a list as a sub to a dossier which has two custom content types. Adding an item using the standard 'item' ct works but I get this error when trying to add one of the custom content types:
