Can I build views based on CAML?

Hi,

instead of using the SharePoint views, can I create views based on CAML? I have a list where a lookup is made to a different list showing an email address at the main list.
I want a filtered view of the main list based on the lookup column showing all entries of the user [Me.email] (alike) who is looking at the list.

Any idea?
