Security features for all actions which communicate with sharepoint database
Hi together,
now, after two years experience with Sharepoint and Skybow, I would like to share a feature idea which - I think - is really crucial as the missing of this feature makes the work with Sharepoint and Skybow not 100% reliable.
It would be great if you could implement security features for securing, that all actions, which communicate with the sharepoint-database (add/update/http-request...) are really processed without transmission error resulting from problems not caused by programming failures but connection problems. Here a list of unexpected errors which happens pretty often and I can't do anything against it:
- connection timeout error
- unexpected response from server
This is really a big problem, especially when the errors occur in triggered actions. You can implement scope actions but to be true the only thing they can do is to inform the admin (via mail) that an error occured. So a skybow-solution always depends on an admin to monitor errors and manually repeat the actions which caused connection errors. It is not self-secure.
In our case that's work of about 0,5-1,5h a day.
Best regard,
Christoph

Another error concerning this issue which happens quite often:
"Failed to execute action 'Get Standort items'. Details: An error occurred while sending the request. Inner exception message: The underlying connection was closed: A connection that was expected to be kept alive was closed by the server. Unable to read data from the transport connection: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond."0
