Hi,

 

I would like to either hide or disable the Save and Cancel buttons in the regular ribbon as I have validation, emailing and workflow submissions based around the Save button etc on my form. I have seen the suggestion to hide the entire ribbon, but this will not work for me as I need to have my users attach supporting documentation for the forms they complete.

    What version of Rich Forms are you using?  In latest version all custom actions executes on save/cancel button press.

    I am using 2.7.

     

    The reason why I didn't want to get rid of the entire edit tab in the ribbon is because I need my users to attach files to the form. Is there a way to only suppress the Commit Panel on the Edit Tab?

     

    I also have other buttons on the form that wouldn't display on the Edit tab.

    To hide the Commit Panel on the Edit Tab you need to add a Script Editor web part with the following contents:

     

     

     

    You will need to add it to any form where you don't want this panel to be shown.
