Sending emails to External Email Addresses - Error when sending emails to addresses outside our tenant

Hi,

 

I am having a problem with one of the actions on my form. When I click on the submit button for my form I need to send an email to a person external to my organisation to get them to accept some terms and conditions.

 

When it comes to execute the send email I get the attached error:

 

Failed to execute action "Email Cardholder" :Bad Request
{"error":{"code":"-2130242040, Microsoft.SharePoint.SPException","message":{"lang":"en-US","value":"The e-mail message cannot be sent. Make sure the e-mail has a valid recipient."}}}

 

I have read that this is a Sharepoint Online issue, but wanted to know if there is a work-around with Ardevia. I did try to send the email from the SP 2013 workflow, but got the same error.

 

Background Information:

 

my email is like 'sandy@abc.com.au'
external email is like 'sandy@xyz.com.au'.

    Hi Sandy,

     

    There is no workaround with Ardevia. You can use some third-party services with Execute Script or HTTP Request action to send email to external address.
