Filter for Choice-Fields

Similar to the handling of lookup columns would it be good to be able to filter the available items of sharepoint choice-columns.

This would allow to create a "status" field for an element, where only certain values can be selected, mabey depending on the value of other fields.

  There is a workaround to filter a choice field on form opening with some small snippet of custom code in a Execute script Action added on Pre-Form Load:
  Check the configuration in this discussion's answer
  The mentioned workaround isn't changing the status of this idea. This feature request asks for an easy editor to define a filter and reacting to form input changes.
