Regarding: How to distribute Solutions through 3rd party Marketplaces

 

I was asked by a customer about authorization for API Deployments:
Can ClientId and ClientSecret be used instead of Basic Auth?

  Hi David Schenk

  At this time we provide Basic Authorization only for Solution Management API.

  It's not planned to implement other authorizatons like OAuth. For sure you can contact our support to arrange a call to discuss this topic - or if you're able to describe your feature request by detail add it directly to Ideas Solution Studio Online

  Hi Christof Nussbaumer;

  Sorry I was confused about serviceUser/Password. I thought this needed to be an user with permission on the target site, instead of just being an authentication against the service. So the actual deployment uses permissions given to the skybow App (by a global admin).
