How to remove an attachment?

    Hi Pascal Thum,

unfortunately we cannot reproduce this issue. In our case the delete link is shown on the new and edit form.

Did you update Solution Studio to the latest version?

Is there an enabled expression somewhere on a parent element which is disabling this functionality?

Have you already tried to delete and add the attachment column to the form again?

If you check out the development tools (F12) of you browser, is the delete button not there at all or just set to hidden?

    Kind regards

    Matthias

    Hi Matthias Walter

Yes I'm using the newest version of Solution Studio. Removing the column didn't help and the button is just not there.

I've reset the form with "uncustomize form" and build it again. Now i can see the button.

    Best regards

    Pascal

This is strange, but still good to hear that you've managed to get it working.

    Kind regards

    Hi Matthias Walter

I know the last reply is quite a while back but i was able to reproduce the problem now. On my specific form the "delete" label disappears as soon as i use any "Control Status" feature (Enable/Visible). Without using this I can see the button.

Even on a new list the same problem occurs. But the strange thing is that this only happens on task lists. Within a custom list everything works fine.

Can you try to reproduce this on your site? Try to disable any field on a task list and see what happens with the attachment delete button.

    Thanks, Pascal
