Edit Button on Display Form - Provide an Edit button on the Display Form

Hi,

 

I have placed a Button with Actions called Edit on my Display Form. I want to be able to click on this Edit button and immediately be presented with the Edit Form, with my current item available on it.

 

How do I do this?

  You need to add "Open List Form" action to your button. Select the current list.
  In the "List Item ID" field add value:

  Code:

   

  =[[ID]]
  

  
  And select the way you want the form to be opened: modal dialog etc.

  Doing exactly as described (choosing "parent frame"), I get the following error:

   

  Failed to execute action "Edit Item" :TypeError
  Object doesn't support property or method 'OpenWebPage'

   

  When I then go back and try and view the action builder the "open in" dropdown does not seem to remember my selection.

  That is wonderful news. Is there a date set for the next release? We coul dreally use that functionality ASAP.

  This bug was fixed in the last release and should already be available in the store.

  Fixed on Verison 3.1.0.0.
