Theme Designer and Modern Pages

It appears that the Theme Designer does not apply to any styling to the new Microsoft Modern Pages.  If a user chooses to use the Modern Page Layout for lists and libraries, or if the administrators have forced modern pages for all, none of the styles appear to have any effect.

 

Are there any plans to extend the theme designer to incorporate new CSS placeholders for this situation?

  Hi Daryl,

   

  all our resources are now working on support for modern pages and modern lists. So, the answer is yes, however we still cannot communicate exact roadmap, since the tasks in this area re quite complex.
