Project planning connections between tasks
Hello Skybow community
When a project schedule is created, connections between tasks are created using the predecessor field.
If a task due date is moved, this should be applied to all linked subsequent tasks. This should be updated automatically at each task.
Has anyone solved this yet?

This sounds you're looking for our Metadata Inheritance feature.
I see some problems if you use the Predecessor field cause it allows multiple lookups and you're able to link tasks with each other. The effect of this is possible looping updates and with multiple lookup values it's not clear where to get value from.
I would suggest to have a master detail structure where each tasks just points to one single item to inherit the value of it.

You can have additional lookups and more than just two levels involved in your structure.
