CAML Filter on pages

Hey all,

When I add a List within a form (inside a  dossier) I can CAML filter that list with the query editor. Now I want to create a reporting page to show different filtered lists, but I can't CAML filter those lists. (Or I don't know how) I only can work with views but not filter them with a custom query and dynamic search parameter. I also don't want to create a view for each filter, public views shall be recognizable within seconds. So I can't create dozens of views.

  Hi Benni,

  there is no such possibility and skybow does not provide any webparts to add on a site page so far.

  The only idea I would have is to use a "Highlighted Content" webpart using the List layout and get the items using a custom KQL query. Unfortunately this is very limited from a layout perspective and you cannot just choose the columns to display. It is just "Title, Modified and Modified by" by default.

  Dear Matthias,

  thanks for the idea. I already tried that, but this is not what I would expect. If you say that you don't provide any webpart for that "so far", does that mean you are planning such a webpart?

  Dear Benni,

  there is no plan to create such a webpart, but if there are more people requesting this in our Idea section or vote for it, it might get on our roadmap.
