Validation-Rules before Packaging

It always once in a while happens, that pages are being modified and not published/checked in before a new package is being created. It would be great, if prior to packaging a solution a "validation" would be executed, so that these pages would be listes with the option to check them in/publish them, so their changes will actually be included in the package.
