CAML builder general access

We keep coming across places where it would be nice to be able to call the new "CAML query builder" independently. This is because CAML filters are used in many places, with functions and actions etc. However, we found us lost and either need to use a third party tool like the U2U CAML Builder in parallel or stop working, go to a place in our solution, mainly we go to the list where we need to have the CAML for. Create the CAML and copy it. Then moving back to the spot where the function or action needs a CAML query and paste what we just copied.
This is a little daunting and costs time. So if we could call the CAML query builder "independently" from the location, where we are at, that would be fabulous. The CAML query builder could open in an overlay dialog or at a new browser window. Then there would be no need any longer to use a third party tool or leave the working area. What about an additional button at the top right area that would trigger the CAML query builder?

It would then be nice to have the lists of the solution available, for example as a dropdown, from the current project, to be able to select the list we require the CAML query for.
