You added 'Make hidden' option to the list/library views. - Please add: Conditions
(A hidden view will not be visible in the SharePoint site UI, but it can be selected in the list component within Solution Studio.)
Hello,
may I kindly ask if it would be possible to make this hide option conditional?
So we can apply, just as an example, a hide, if the user is not part of a SharePoint group etc.
As a workaround we can add a button to show the view, but it would be nice to see it at the native view UI :)
Many thanks for considering.
Cheers
Joerg

Sounds same as this existing Idea: Dynamic View Selector with Conditions – skybow Portal
You're right: For a first step we provide the possibility to make views hidden in Solution Studio. The end-user navigation to the hidden views needs to be managed by the Solution Builder itself.
Best practice you already mentioned is to configure Action Buttons with a Visible expressions checking group memberships or other role based configurations and containing a "Open web page" action with the URL of the hidden view.
These Action Buttons can be placed on Pages, List Views and Forms.1 -
This is great - now we have the option to really build security trimmed views, removing the create view role from the permission level, gives us a solid platform to route users and hide information they should not see - what a bright future :)
Many thanks skybow bringing this feature!1
