- The folder will contain a file called skybow-modern-forms.sppkg.
- Meanwhile, open your browser and navigate to your tenant app catalog.
The URL will typically be: https://[TenantName].sharepoint.com/sites/appcatalog or https://[TenantName].sharepoint.com/sites/apps
How to create an app catalog? | How to video - Open a browser and navigate to your app catalog from your SharePoint admin center. This can be found under "More Features" in the left navigation. Open the apps tile. If this is the first time an app has been added in your environment, the app catalog site collection will be automatically provisioned at this point.
- In the modern app catalog, click "Upload", browse to the extracted folders and select your desired version of skybow-modern-forms.sppkg file.
-
The "Enable app" panel will open and ask you how you want to deploy the app.
If you leave the default setting "Enable this app and add it to all sites" the skybow Forms Designer will be available to add to any site in your tenant.
If you select "Only enable this app", the app will appear for site owners to add to their sites. Then click "Enable app". -
Next you will need to approve access, so this app works as designed. This is because skybow takes advantage of several Microsoft Graph entities.
This approval must be given by a global or application admin. It allows the Add-In to make requests to the Microsoft Graph API. If you're a global admin, click "Go to API access page". Otherwise, a global admin can come back anytime and do the approvals via the API access link on the left menu of the app catalog. -
This will take you to the "API Access" page. You should see a few "Pending requests" by skybow. Note that you may see different requests than shown below, because some of these permissions have already been approved.
-
Approve each of the pending requests. Bulk approving is not possible here.
